Welcome. We serve as a central repository for the listing of lost and found pets in the greater Yellowstone County, Montana area.

This is a free service. You can submit an ad for a lost or found animal. You can search our database of lost and found animals.

If you've lost an animal: place an ad here, place an ad in the newspaper too. The Gazette runs them for free for 3 days.

Check all the local shelters. The Billings Animal Shelter (BAS) website is updated frequently. They list strays for about 3-7 days. If unclaimed, many become "adoptable" so check that category too. The BAS also has a lost pet hotline you should listen to, call them at 657-8226 and listen for the prompts.

Put up posters in your neighborhood. (You can print your listing (contact poster) from here on 8 1/2 x 11 paper to work as a poster.)

Please note that while you have the opportunity to provide email, phone, and street address information in your submission, we do not publish email or street addresses anywhere on our site. If you provide an email address, anyone who wishes to contact you can do so through an online form that will send their information to you without disclosing your email address.

After you submit your pet information you will be given a unique access code. Save this code, it will allow you to delete your pet information from the website.

If you don't like how your pet information reads, you will need to delete it and reenter it. If you need help deleting your submission, please contact the webmaster. See the contact link on the left.

All submitted postings are moderated before being added to the searchable database. We may contact you before we display the submission. We reserve the right to refuse to display a submission. We reserve the right to delete a previously approved and displayed submission.
